The product

Magnettu is a B2B platform that helps professionals and companies build their brands on LinkedIn. Teams use it to plan and schedule content in a shared calendar, draft posts with an AI planner, track reach and engagement in analytics, and compare personal and company brands.

I joined the Barcelona team as a product QA and data analyst intern, working between the product, engineering and customers.

Testing everything, in two languages

Most of my time went to stress and bug testing. I ran live user testing myself, working through Magnettu’s core features and its newer, extended ones before customers saw them.

Because the product served both Spanish and English speakers, I tested every flow in both languages and flagged the gaps I found between them. I logged each bug in Jira with clear documentation, and together this structured QA process cut user-reported bugs by 50%.

Tracing customer problems

I also responded to customers who ran into bugs or problems. For each one, I traced the path they had taken through the product and recreated the issue step by step, so engineering got a bug they could reproduce instead of a vague complaint.

Finding where customers fell off

Later in the internship, I built a BigQuery and Looker Studio dashboard, using SQL, to show when customers were falling off and which segments were going inactive.

That gave the team time to reach out before those users were gone, and it helped retain 15% of at-risk users.

Fixing video uploads

Users were running into problems uploading videos. I looked into why videos couldn’t be uploaded, found the bug behind it and fixed it, working with the engineers to prioritize it in the sprint. Upload speeds improved by 90%.
