One of ten

In 2024 I was selected as one of 10 Shoemaker Scholars, a student leadership program at IU’s Shoemaker Innovation Center focused on technology innovation and entrepreneurship.

Scholars worked with university leadership, industry professionals and each other to grow entrepreneurship on campus.

Launching an AI business competition

I directed the AI Business Launch Competition, which challenged students to build and pitch revenue-generating businesses using AI.

I owned it from the first concept through finalist selection and the final presentations.

Running the events

Leading a 10-person team, we organized two innovation competitions with more than 300 participants combined.

I coordinated the industry judges, mentorship, scheduling and logistics, and worked with university leadership on the school’s wider entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives.
